HIPPA Privacy Notice
The Administrative Simplification provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, commonly known as HIPAA, include new rules that seek to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the healthcare system. A portion of HIPAA, referred to as the Privacy Rule, establishes a national standard for the collection, maintenance, access, use and disclosure of individually identifiable health information. Individually identifiable health information is considered to be protected health information. In addition, there are several individual rights that are defined in the Privacy Rule.
The confidentiality of the information entrusted to us has always been of utmost importance. This Notice of Privacy Practices reflects our commitment to protecting your individually identifiable health information.
